Who is behind a company, in twelve seconds
Companies House is free and public. How to read a company’s record, what a filing history tells you, and why the records come before the people.

by Alice Penrose
I am Alice Penrose. I am sixteen, I go to Seabrook Secondary and I edit the school paper. I built this website for my great-uncle, Arthur Penrose, who told me not to bother. This part of it is mine. I write about Seabrook, about finding things out from public records, about the Seabrook Chronicle, where I intend to work, and about Holmes, who is a cat. I do not write about Uncle Arthur’s cases. Please do not ask.

My great-uncle told me not to bother. The website took three days, and the photograph of the cat stays.
